FreeFly Junior Development

About The Team

The FreeFly Endurance Coaching Junior Development Cycling Team is focused on developing youth aged 12-18 years with both strong minds and bodies by way of a fun, exciting and popular sport. Cycling, specifically mountain bike racing, is the fastest growing youth sport in the country and has been a natural catalyst for this program’s growth. We provide structured working sessions as a team that build self confidence, determination, physical fitness and overall health. In these sessions we specifically work on technical bicycle handling, cardiovascular fitness, strength fitness, goal setting, proper nutrition and mental strength

This athletes in this program participate in competitions at local, regional and national events. These races are where our riders get to practice exactly what they’ve been working on as races give a great real-world structure to play, test and see first hand how their hard work translates into real, tangible results.

Finally, the program is supported by numerous experienced volunteer adult riders interested in building a strong community of young adults. Their time is spent supporting coaching sessions and rides and leading by example at the same races and events the junior riders are participating in.
