About Me

Sophie is a cross country skier who was born and raised in a small town in southern Vermont. She learned to ski at about the same time she learned to walk and has been on skis since. Sophie ski raced for Dartmouth College for four years and earned two NCAA podiums. Since graduating, Sophie has been skiing professionally for the U.S. Ski Team. Her favorite discipline is sprinting and she aims for the podium in each World Cup sprint she enters. With two career World Cup wins and 13 World Cup podiums, Sophie is feeling good and looking forward to another season on the World Cup. When she's not ski racing, she enjoys any other kind of activity where she can enjoy being outdoors. Her passions include working with young girls to inspire the next generation of female athletes and spending quality time with the ones she loves!
