About Me

HI my name is Pete. I am a 54 year old happily married father of one great son. I started running late in life but took to it very quickly. I stated running marathons by accident, my brother in law asked me to sign up for a half with him so I did and trained my butt off, turns out he never did. I ran it my first race in 1:39. Like many runners I though well did a half how hard could a full be. Ran the Fredrick Maryland marathon 3 months later in 3:35. Rained the entire time. Since then I have run Boston times, the Goofy Challenge 5 times dopey 3times Marine Corp 4 times and a bunch of other runs thrown in there. This year my goal is to regain speed and requalify for Boston and run over 3000 miles for the year.
