I started out as a competitive cyclist and loved racing criteriums and speedy descents. After becoming a Mom in 2015 I found running much easier to fit into my new life. I did my first half marathon in 2017 and my first trail race, Seek the Peak, and I was instantly hooked on racing! Since having my second daughter in 2017, my running and racing have led me down an amazing road of exploring trails, chasing road PRs and challenging my limits. I love both road and trail racing, and I LOVE the Grouse Grind (known as natures stair master!) and you can see me there all summer, often with baby on my back. I live in beautiful North Vancouver where every run is a hill run, but I am only steps away from some of the most beautiful ocean front road races in Canada. In 2018 I raced the entire BC 5 Peaks Enduro series with 2 podium finishes and 2nd place female OA in the series. In 2019 I am looking to get my half marathon time down to sub 1:35 and I have some new trail races on my calender including Buckin Hell 30km, my longest race yet! When I'm not running I'm spending time with my hubby, a firefighter and mountain biker, and my 2 adorable, adventurous little girls. I work as cardiac surgery ICU Nurse, fixing broken hearts! My greatest joy in running and life is the discovery that you are so much stronger than you know.
